Monroe County Junior
Leaders
Monroe County Junior Leaders is a county-wide project
and more. County 4-H teens age 13 and up or at least 7th grade
and enrolled in the Leadership Project are members of Junior Leaders.
The Clover contains the 6 projects and their numbers in the Leadership
category. We use 3 of them to separate Junior Leaders by 4-H age.
They are 272, 281, and 282. Junior Leaders meet in club fashion
and participate in community service and educational activities.
A 4-H teen in Junior Leaders can expect their 4-H résumé to glow
with the additional activities offered in Junior Leaders. At year-end
Adult Advisors expect each Junior Leader to complete a project
record form (doc
or pdf)
and submit up to 3 pages of photos outlining their leadership
activities of the year. Junior Leader Advisors choose an outstanding
1st year Junior Leader or two and an award is given at Recognition
Night yearly.
