Computer Project Fair Exhibit Ideas

  • a web site of your own
  • a page of your own that is part of a web site for your 4-H club or county 4-H program, each member of the project that wishes to could contribute their own page or pages to the site, the home page could be done as a project group, their individual pages or pages would be a great fair exhibit, level 3 recommends a complete site that contains a minimum of 5 screens and some hyperlinks
  • one or more self-designed greeting cards using Word or something similar
  • one or more graphics drawn with Paint, PhotoShop or something similar
  • a presentation possibly multimedia using PowerPoint or similar
  • take a photograph and design a series of 4 to 6 special effects photos using software
  • put together a scrapbook or poster on a topic that you have investigated on the Web, topic can be anything that interests you, dinosaurs, music, anything, print off your information you found and display it
  • write a storybook and illustrate it with pictures, pictures can be original drawings, clip art or photos and put them together in storybook format using word processing or desktop publishing software
  • create a T-shirt design with a graphics or publishing program and print it on a piece of paper or if you wish print on iron on paper and then put on T-shirt, your design can include graphics and/or text
  • make an animated presentation using PowerPoint or similar, if you wish you may like to get into Flash or Shockwave presentation, something of this nature could also be part of a club or county website, level 3 recommends 10 screens and include some graphics, sound, and either a video clip or animation
  • use a word processing or desktop publishing software to create a magazine, it should be twelve pages if done at level 3 and use a combination of graphics and text and printed in color
